2019 Results

Patient Satisfaction Survey

In the interest of better serving our patients and their families, approximately twenty five percent of our patients are randomly mailed a survey each month which a return envelope included. Of the surveys mailed, approximately fifteen percent get mailed back to AMT. The feedback gained is used for quality assurance and customer service improvement.

Patient Testimonials

An observer recently commented on the positive interaction between our crew and two young neighborhood boys; the crew took the time to talk to the boys.
She stated,


This may not seem like much, but by her taking this minute to acknowledge them and say hi may have made them realize how great EMTs are and may give them that drive to do something similar in the future. Many children in this neighborhood are treated like they are invisible and having someone take the time to say hi was a great gesture. "

A patient came into the lobby to find the crew she credited with saving her life. This individual suffered a seizure which caused a MVA. It was discoverd that she had a brain tumor. She has had surgery and is making a great recovery. She said that the compassion shown by her ambulance caregivers helped during a frightening episode.

Received a compliment from a patient that had been transported with a painful hip dislocation. The patient noted,

You two guys were by far the best in a very stressful situation for me. "

Our crew transported a patient home to receive hospice care. The patient's aunt called to compliment the crew stating that they were phenomenal, very caring and that they greatly appreciated how they treated their loved one during a very stressful time.

A mother of a one week old infant phoned and wanted to thank the crew for providing excellent care for her baby and calming her so well. She had another child in the ER and was not even able to ride along with her child during this transport.

A mother and five children under 12 years of age were involved in a collision to which AMT responded. We received a nice comment along with cookies and cupcakes from this mother who stated,


I don't know why this took so long. In June 2017, you were all unbelievably helpful to me, my children and our friends. I can't ever thank you enough. Please just know that our family prays for you and thanks God for you often. "
