Q: How do I call for an ambulance?

A: For emergencies, always call 9-1-1. We can be reached at (309) 494-6200 in the event of an emergency or if you need to schedule an ambulance service.

Q: When do I call 9-1-1 for an ambulance?

A: You should call 9-1-1 in the event someone becomes suddenly ill or injured. If you feel the situation is an emergency, we suggest you call 9-1-1. Better safe than sorry.

Q: Is AMT a Medicare Service Provider?

A: Yes — AMT provides service to Medicare recipients under Medicare Part B. We accept assignment, meaning Medicare pays fees for services based on the scheduled rate. Patients may be presented with a bill after Medicare pays its share; then any supplemental insurance will typically pay the remaining fees after Medicare has submitted payment.

Q: What if I choose a service that is not covered by Medicare?

A: If a patient choose services not covered by Medicare, then the patient will be responsible for the fee. An example would include anything deemed "Not Medically Necessary" by the patient's physician. We do, however, offer a Financial Assistance Program. Call our billing office at (309) 494-6203 for additional information.
