Todd Baker serves as Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Medical Transport as of July 22, 2026. After joining AMT in 2020 as Vice President of Business Development and later serving as Chief Operating Officer, Baker has helped guide the organization's strategic growth, operational excellence, and community engagement initiatives. He has played a key role in expanding partnerships, strengthening regional EMS services, and advancing innovative healthcare programs throughout Central Illinois. Baker is known for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to delivering superior patient care while ensuring AMT remains at the forefront of Emergency Medical Services innovation. With experience spanning organizational leadership, finance, technology, workforce development, and healthcare system partnerships, Baker is exceptionally prepared to lead AMT through its next era.
Baker is a lifelong Peorian and committed to our community. A graduate of Bradley University with both a BS and MBA, Todd is an active alum serving on the Foster College of Business National Council of Advisors. Baker also serves the community and the Board Chair of Heartland Health Services, (a local FQHC), Vice Chair of the Peoria Riverfront Museum and the Chair of the Peoria County Care and Treatment Board.
Todd and his wife of 37 years live in the Peoria area, have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren. When not working or spending time with grandkids, Todd can be found on his boat on the Illinois river.
