Andrew Rand served for 35 years as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Medical Transport (AMT), a not-for-profit ambulance service headquartered in Peoria, Illinois. He continues as CEO of the parent company, AMT, Inc and in a support role of the current CEO. Since founding the organization in 1991, he has led its growth into one of the Midwest's most respected EMS systems, recognized for innovation, clinical excellence, and community partnerships. Under his leadership, AMT became Illinois' first accredited ambulance service through the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) and has maintained that distinction while pioneering programs in cardiac arrest survival, community paramedicine, and emergency medical communications. Rand is widely recognized as a visionary leader dedicated to improving patient outcomes and advancing the EMS profession.
