Heart Attack & Stroke Warnings

Memorize the following symptoms of a heart attack and stroke. You could save a life… including yours!

Warnings of a heart attack:

• Chest pressure
• Pain that radiates to the shoulders, neck or arms (especially the left arm)
• Lightheadedness, sweating or nausea
• Shortness of breath

Warnings of a stroke (Brain Attack):

• Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm, or leg (especially on one side of the body)
• Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding
• Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes
• Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination
• Sudden, severe headache with no known cause

If you experience warning signs of either a heart attack or a stroke, call 9-1-1 immediately!
