The Danger of Air Bags
While air bags can save the life of an adult, they can be extremely harmful - and sometimes fatal - to children. NEVER use a Child Safety Seat in a seat with a front air bag the impact of an imploding bag can cause severe brain damage to an infant. The safest place for any child under the age of 12 is in the back seat. However, if your vehicle has side-impact air bags, make sure your child doesn't lean against the door or window.
